Embellir's Life Wheels
Embellir's Wheel of Prosperity

When we think of prosperity, most of us automatically think of money.  However, prosperity refers to finding a balance in all aspects of our lives.  For example, if money was no issue but you have neither peace of mind nor someone who loves you; then your wheel of prosperity would be missing two very important elements.  Therefore, your life would not be as fulfilling as it could be.  If you have a great spouse, family, and friends, but you continue to struggle financially to provide the basic needs of food, clothing, and shelter; then your life would be less fulfilled.  And so on and so forth.

How do you prosper in every aspect of the wheel?  Make up your mind to do so.

Happy Marriage
Let your heart, and only your heart, choose your mate.  Not money, not power, not prestige, not looks, not sex, not education, and not a fear of being alone.  If you can't see yourself spending the rest of your life with a person, then this is the wrong person for you.  Click here to take our marriage quiz for those who are engaged.

Family & Friends
Of course, family and true friends are important.  Do your best to build loving and supportive relationships with all family members.  Learn how to forgive family and friends who may have wronged you in the past.  Even though the relationship may never be ideal again, depending on the wound, you can still keep your peace and good health by not holding a grudge.  Unforgiveness and holding grudges has been compared to taking poison and expecting the other person to die.  Also, be sure to have periodic family gathering, especially around the holidays.

Love of GOD
This should be the first aspect that you strive for--to know Jehovah and His plan for your life.  A life that is built around good moral advise is one that is kinder and more peaceful; and the Bible contains all the moral advise you could ever need.  It was written for us out of love.  If you are not a believer, begin slowly--reading, studying, and questioning everything that you can about why we are here and our future after death.

Peace of Mind
Peace of mind will be automatic when you fulfill the aspects of the wheel.  With a love of God, money in your pocket, great family and friends, etc., you will certainly worry less or not at all and sleep peacefully.  Portect your aura and treat people like you would like to be treated; then you can rest peacefully at night knowing that you have done your very best.

Clean Environment
Cleanliness is next to godliness.  Keep your environment as immaculate as possible--from your self to your home to your work area to your car and to your mind.  Garbage in is garbage out.  In addition, being unclean in any aspect of your life can lead to many types of illnesses.

Exercise
There is no good health without some form of exercise--even if it is just a brisk walk daily.  The benefits of exercise are enormous.  Exercise helps to dislodge and remove toxins; maintains acceptable body weight; relieves stress for clearer thinking; and tones muscles.

Financial Stability
If you fail to plan, then plan to fail.  You must make a household budget and live within your means regardless of what the spending mood of the time is, regardless of the Joneses, and regardless of how much you want something.  If you do not manage your money, your money will manage you.  If your money manages you, you will jump when the phone rings, cringe when the mail comes, and avoid people who have loaned you money.  Remember, the borrower is a slave to the lender.  Some brief good advice: Only keep 2 major credit cards and try to pay them off in 30 days; give 10% of your income to your church; give 10% of your income to yourself; have at least 6 months of emergency money in an interest-bearing savings account; save as much as is feasible; pay cash for most items by saving up for them; use coupons when possible; take advantage of sales and promotions; buy in bulk when appropriate for your life style; pay your bills on time; and when you have a bit of excess, then try your hand at investing wisely.

Botanicals & Essential Oils
Plants have the power to heal whatever ails you--from headaches to major diseases.  Your physical and emotional wellness is housed in a leaf, a flower, a root, or a bark.  Do not take your health for granted and do not wait until something breaks to leap into action.  Prevention is worth a pound of cure.  Eat right, take your botanicals, and get plenty of rest for a much healthier you.  You must take responsibility for your own health.

Embellir's 24-Hour Wheel
The 24-Hour Daily Time Wheel
(adapted from Aveda Rituals)

It often seems that there are not enough hours in a day.  If you do not manage your time, then your time will manage you.  The wheel is not, of course, all encompassing or ridgid; however it is designed to help you reduce stress by organizing your days to get done what needs to be done without sacrificing your own needs or our family's.

The challenge is to be conscious of every second, every moment; to make the most of the irreplaceable time that you have, and to embrace life with faith and a positive attitude.  Frank Outlaw wrote...
Watch your actions, they become habits
Watch your habits, they become character
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.

Life is run by a biological clock based on solar and lunar time frames that regulates the optimum times for eating, sleeping, and rising.  Our bodies are run by this clock.  If we deviate from our natural rhythm, our health will suffer in some form.  Jet lag is a prime example.

First recognized by the Chinese in the third century b.c.e., the biological clock is an intrinsic mechanism that controls the rhythm of various metabolic activities of plants and animals. Some, such as mating, hibernation, and migration, have a yearly cycle; others, such as ovulation and menstrual cycles of women, follow a lunar month. The majority, however, have a 24-hour, day-night cycle called the circadian rhythm. This day-night cycle, first recognized in plants over 250 years ago and existing in virtually all species of plants and animals, regulates these organisms' metabolic functions: plants opening and closing their petals or leaves, germination and flowering functions, changes in human body temperature, hormone secretion, blood sugar and blood pressure levels, and sleep cycles.

Research in chronobiology, the study of these daily rhythms, reveals that many accidents occur between 1 and 6 a.m., that most babies are born in the morning hours, that heart attacks tend to occur between 6 and 9 a.m., and that most Olympic records are broken in the late afternoon.

Studies have show that the optimal time to wake is with the rising of the sun, somewhere between 5 and 6 AM; the last meal should have been eaten by 7 PM; and sleep should begin by 10 PM.

Rising early to exercise and meditate will clear the mind and set the body for optimal functioning during the day.  To not eat after 7 P.M. allows the body to process the last meal and prepare for restful sleep and rebuilding.  To retire around 10 P.M. gives you time to get plenty of sleep before the start of the next day.

Those who travel and work various evening and night shifts, will have to find ways to work within the realm of their biological clock based on their schedule.
