Peel and section grapefruits, removing and discarding pith.
In food processor or blender, combine grapefruit and remaining ingredients.
Blend, puree for 30 seconds or until well blended.
Pour into pretty glasses.

1 inch Fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
1.5 cups Distilled water

1 cup canned pumpkin (or fresh if you like) 1 & 1/2 cups plain soy milk 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt (or plain mixed with a bit of pure vanilla extract) 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 tbs brown sugar Crushed ice
Combine ingredients in blender and puree until smooth.
Pour the smoothies into beautiful tall glasses. Serves 2 or 3.

Add water and romaine to blender and blend on low until smooth.
Add celery, apple, and pear. Blend on high.
Add cilantro and parsley. Blend.
Add lemon juice and banana. Blend

1 1/2 cups canned mandarin orange sections, drained 2-3 scoops pure vanilla ice cream 2 tbs orange-juice concentrate or 3 tbs pure orange juice 1/4 tsp pure almond extract 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/8 tsp cloves 1 1/2 cups ice cubes or crushed ice
Add all to blender and blend 30 seconds. Drink immediately. Delicious!

Diane's Chamomile Cooler Iced Tea 1/2 cup dried chamomile flowers 1/4 cup china black tea 2 tablespoons dried lemon verbena leaves 1/3 cup raw honey or date sugar
In a large pot bring 6 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Remove pot from heat and stir in the chamomile, china black, and lemon verbena. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, place a large strainer lined with cheesecloth or a damp paper towel over another pot or heat-proof bowl. Strain tea, pressing on the herbs to extract all liquid. Stir in honey until it dissolves, and let the tea cool completely, about 1 hour. Fill four tall glasses with ice. Pour tea over ice and serve immediately.
