1. Unexplained weight loss and/or loss of appetite If you are eating the same way and either of these occur, you could have a serious problem--including ovarian cancer which can cause swelling of the abdomen. Just see your doctor to be sure.
2. Slurred speech, paralysis, weakness, tingling, burning pains, numbness, and confusion Signs of a stroke. See your doctor immediately to be sure.
3. Black, tarry stools This could be a sign of a bleeding ulcer or cancer in the intestine.
4. Headache with a stiff neck and fever These could indicate a serious infection called meningitis which can cause scarring of the brain. See your doctor immediately.
5. Sudden agonizing, crushing headache If this headache is more severe than one you have ever felt before, this could possibly be from a brain aneurysm. If treated before it bursts, it could save your life.
6. Lump in testicle A lump in the groin could indicate testicular cancer.
